Cultural Activities

              To ferret out the talent, which would have remained buried otherwise, the teacher at the helm of cultural activities, remain alert throughout the year besides formal Talents shows conducted at the local stage and the youth festst at the University as well as state level. We leave no stone unturned in chiseling the talent found in crude form though the talent is there. No session has gone when we returned without trophies, shields in the field of Music , Dancing Declamation Contests.Our Students have broght the name of the forefront of university as well as state elevating the position of this small college , competing with the giant colleges to the inter varsity and National level.


Women Cell

              A women cell has been working in the college since 1996-97 . It’s aim is to promote a better and balanced understanding of society and to empower women for equality. It addresses the grievances of girl students and several competitions are held regularly at various levels in the college premises to highlights their problems and to suggest solutions to them. A cordial environment is maintained in the cell so a to encourage the girl participants to get engaged in free, frank and friendly interaction between the co-ordinator and the students. Doctors and lawyers are invited to address students to sensitize them to various dangers to which they are prone to . It is working in co-ordination with voluntary organizations, N.S.S unit of the college and the legal cell.

National Service Scheme (N.S.S)

              The college started national service scheme in 1980. The aim of the scheme is to deveolp the all round personalityof the students to make them responsible and patriotic citizen and to develop in them the sence of dignity of manual labour. N.S.S. Provides a forum to the young students for social service in their spare time. It has unit having an enrollment capacity of 100 students.
